Breadshop is a craft bakery located in Honolulu owned and operated by Christopher Sy, an artisanal bread maker who bakes for local individuals and restaurants that value the quality of fresh, regional food. The concept is based on the idea of “terroir” which defines how the geography and climate affects locally produced wine, coffee, tea, or bread. The mark is a series of bread loaves broken in half to form a monogram, referencing fellowship through “breaking bread.”
